7 days left until the big day!

This day has come eventually… today is the day when the real countdown starts, because I only have a week left! Last weekend, last Monday, last Tuesday, last… everything :(.
This last 2 weeks has been more than intense and hectic for me. I have mixed emotions, most of the time I am happy and excited, but on the other hand I feel sorrow as well… not easy at all, believe me, I even burst into tears sometimes. Somehow I also feel myself lonelier than every before in my life. I meet many of my friends, I spend lots of time with my sisters, I’m at home with my parents, but I still have this unexplained feeling. Damn, I’m gonna leave in a week and who knows what’s gonna happen to me, when I’m gonna come back and live in my country again?! Maybe never. Who knows? Sometimes unpredictable future is a bit scary.

Enough about my crazy feelings, I don’t wanna get sad again! 🙂
Sooo, I’ve got some news recently. Unfortunately I still have no idea what fleets I’m gonna operate on, my Induction Specialist hasn’t contacted me yet. Oh, I think I haven’t mentioned, but I have new IS! 😮 As I have written before, I got Lucy, but few days ago it turned to Wafa. She is a Tunisian lady, according to her introduction, she used to fly with Emirates before and she even became a purser! I hope she is gonna send me the e-mail very soon, long waiting isn’t pleasant at all. 🙂

On Tuesday I’ve received my e-ticket and e-visa. Actually this is the moment when your leaving gets 100%! Exactly in a week I will be on the BUD-DXB flight, no matter what! Amazing, isn’t it? 😀

The top of my UAE visa 🙂

Actually this visa is valid only until 25 December. As far as I know, we get the residential visa later, so this one seems to be a temporary one. Well, you can still go home once you get there… (never ever!)

In the meanwhile, I’ve already booked my seat on my flight. As soon as you get your e-ticket, go to the main page of the Emirates website, click on the “Manage an existing booking” menu and you can start. Very useful, I wanted to make sure I have window seat on the left side which somehow I prefer :). Lilla, my friend who will be my cabin crew, suggested me to sit close to the galley in order to stay close to the crew 🙂 I hope I am gonna get some special pampering as a joining crew :P. Lilla said they would serve ice cream, I assume that’s pretty close to great pampering 😀 .

This is the seat that I’ve picked, 35A. As you can see it is quite back, very close to the galley. Maybe a bit too back, what do you think? I might change it to 33A, but not sure yet. Why I care that much?! I have no idea! 🙂

I also sorted my clothes out, I start packing on next week. I hope everything will fit into 50 kg capacity. I also gonna do a deep cleaning in my room and sort out all my other stuff. Probably I will throw many things away… this is life :). Some things must come to an end but it means new beginning.
